Església dels Sants Joans
The church of the Sants Joans was rebuilt between 1760 and 1790 over a 16th-century temple. It is possibly the largest in the comarca after Santa Maria de Sagunt and one of the few built with three naves. The dome over the crossing stands out, with an octagonal drum and lantern, as does the bell tower, which was preserved intact.
The Església dels Sants Joans was rebuilt between 1760 and 1790 over a 16th-century temple. It is one of the few churches in the comarca with three naves, a solution that is uncommon in the area. The dome over the crossing has an octagonal drum and a lantern, and becomes the visual centre of the interior. The result is a spacious temple in which the earlier structure and the 18th-century enlargement combine to form a single ensemble. The church remains a reference building within the urban ensemble of the town.
