Reial Santuari de la Mare de Déu de la Salut
Sanctuary located two kilometres from Traiguera, made up of a group of buildings of Gothic origin. What can be seen today dates basically from the 16th century, with Renaissance and Baroque additions and transformations from the 17th and 18th centuries, and it is still a centre of pilgrimage.
The Reial Santuari de la Mare de Déu de la Salut stands two kilometres from the town of Traiguera. The complex has a Gothic origin, although the basic core that defines the present building dates from the 16th century. During the 17th and 18th centuries various Renaissance and Baroque elements were added and transformed, so the sanctuary now brings together several construction stages. This superimposition of works explains the variety of forms and volumes that the complex displays. The distance of two kilometres from the urban centre places the sanctuary at some remove from the town of Traiguera.
