Santuari de Santa Cristina
A sanctuary and hermitage with a guesthouse, beside which a generous spring rises in a setting of market gardens and water sources. Every 23, 24 and 25 July it hosts the pilgrimage of Santa Cristina, with a fair and religious events, one of the traditional dates in Artana's calendar.
The Santuari de Santa Cristina is a sanctuary and hermitage with a guesthouse, and beside it a generous spring rises in a setting of market gardens and water sources. The feast of Santa Cristina is held on 23, 24 and 25 July and includes a pilgrimage up to the sanctuary and a fair, as well as the religious ceremonies. It is one of the traditional dates in Artana's calendar, when local people and visitors make their way up to the building. The complex combines a devotional role with that of hospitality, and the water that rises beside the sanctuary is part of the landscape surrounding the celebration.
