The Gilet tower is a 1580 watchtower at the edge of Gilet. At 25 metres tall, it guarded the entrance to the Morvedre valley from the Calderona to the Palancia.
History
The 1580 tower belongs to the watch network of the coast and valleys. Its 25-metre height made it visible from the Morvedre valley, warning of movements inland.

The exterior of the tower from the village edge. Since its restoration, the interior houses the municipal library. Pair the stop with the 1533 San Antonio church and the Sancti Spiritu monastery.
