Summer Nights at Villa Indiano Restaurant in Valencia
Enjoy a wonderful outdoor culinary proposal along with a great events schedule at this Valencian countryside location. This initiative offers summer nights with music, activities, and gastronomic proposals, highlighting a menu paying tribute to traditional Valencian dinner parties.
«Nit a la fresca» isn't a brand name — it's the Valencian habit of eating outdoors once the heat finally breaks, in the street or the courtyard, table set in the open air. That's what Villa Indiano is doing until 29 August, out in the market gardens of Burjassot, with a menu that looks back to traditional village suppers and a programme of music and activities that changes from night to night.
Before you go
We don't list what's on each night, because the programme moves: the music and the specific activities have to be checked on the official page the day before or the same day. This is a restaurant, not a concert venue, so book — especially Thursday to Saturday — and don't count on walking in. Dinner here starts late by northern European standards: 21:00 is still early, and arriving at 19:00 usually means the kitchen isn't open yet.
Getting to Burjassot
The address is Camí de l'Estació 4, in Burjassot, a town that runs straight into València on the north-west side. The metro reaches it (lines 1 and 2) and you can walk from the station, which matters if there's wine with dinner. By car it's about fifteen minutes from the centre, but this is the kind of evening where someone should stay off the wine.
If you arrive early
Burjassot is worth a look in its own right. The patio de los silos is a square built over a system of underground grain stores with no real equivalent nearby, and the Parc de la Granja fills an afternoon with children. The municipal market is a morning stop, not an evening one — Spanish markets close by early afternoon. For the background to the menu, see the guide on what to eat in València.
