Edificio del Reloj

Almost everyone rushes past on their way to the beach without noticing this elegant 1914 neoclassical building, the old maritime station where the port's passengers once set sail. Its clock tower presides over the harbour mouth, and when there's an exhibition on you can go up and look out over the Marina and the moored sailboats.
Entry is free but it only opens when there's a temporary exhibition: check the city's cultural calendar before you go, and while you're there wander the modernist tinglado warehouses along the quay, almost always deserted.
