Ermita de Sant Miquel Arcàngel
A 16th-century Gothic hermitage dedicated to Sant Miquel Arcàngel, set on a hill in the municipality of la Font d'en Carròs. Around the temple there are remains of an ancient settlement, which makes the whole site one of the most interesting heritage areas in the municipality.
The Ermita de Sant Miquel Arcàngel is a Gothic building from the 16th century. Around it there are remains of an ancient settlement, a detail that widens the interest of the site and links it to the historical occupation of the area. The religious building and the archaeological traces are therefore read as parts of the same heritage landscape. In festive terms, the municipality has held Moors and Christians celebrations since 1978, a tradition that has continued to the present day. It is, then, a place where architecture, archaeology and local memory meet, three layers worth observing together when approaching the site.
