Platja dels Marenys de Rafalcaid
A short, low-key stretch of sand south of Gandía, cut off from the world by a cordon of low dunes with Mediterranean vegetation and backed by marshland. It's where locals slip away when La Safor gets packed: fine sand, clean water and the calm of the Pego-Oliva marsh right behind you.
Come via the Nazaret-Oliva road and park beside the dune cordon; step onto the sand only at the marked crossings so you don't trample the vegetation. It's a good kitesurf spot when the wind picks up, and at sunset it's usually almost empty.
