Playa de Gandía

The Playa de Gandía is the great beach of the Safor region and one of the undisputed classics of the Valencian summer. With fine golden sand and shallow waters that slope gently into the sea, it is a long stretch made for enjoying with family and spending the whole day without rushing. Its extensive seafront promenade and excellent services make it a complete beach destination just over an hour from the capital.

The atmosphere

Gandía lives its summer facing the sea. The beach has a lively, buzzing feel in high season, with swimmers all day long and a promenade that comes alive in the evening, when people head out to dine and have a drink. Thanks to the broad expanse of sand, you can almost always find a spot for your towel despite the crowds.
