Murallas del casco antiguo
Remaining sections of the medieval town wall with the Torreó de la Peça, among the narrow streets of the old quarter.
In the old quarter of Calp, the surviving town walls and the Torreó de la Peça mark the medieval enclosure. Narrow streets run between the wall sections, the tower and the church square.
History
The walls enclosed the hilltop town that lived from farming and fishing before tourism. The Torreó de la Peça is the defensive tower that best survives from the enclosure.
What to see
The wall stretches, the tower outside and the Nieves churches on the church square, where the medieval street plan survives almost intact. It is a short walk that links with the seafront and the Baños de la Reina.
Tips for your visit
