Torre Mussa
Huerta or Muza tower, also Almohad (eleventh to twelfth centuries), standing beside the fountain of the same name. It was later modified and adapted as a columbarium. Together with the Torre de la Plaza and the tower of Sollana, it formed the Islamic surveillance network of the district.
Torre Mussa is also Almohad and is dated to the eleventh and twelfth centuries. It stands next to the fountain of Muza and was later modified until it was adapted as a columbarium. It formed part of the Islamic watchtower network of the district together with the tower of Sollana and the Torre de la Plaza, so its role was to keep visual communication between the surrounding settlements. It is therefore one more piece of a defensive and signalling system that spread across the huerta and covered the settlements of the area.
