Tucked into El Cabanyal, a short walk from the beach, this family tavern opened in 1957 and is still run today by Amparo, the founders' daughter. Its specialty is Cantabrian anchovies, hand-desalted and cleaned one by one just as the founder first prepared them, alongside cured meats, cheese and a tapas menu loyal to the neighbourhood's seafaring roots.
