A few streets back from the sand in Malvarrosa, close to Blasco Ibáñez's old house, this arrocería was opened by an Italian chef trained at Casa Carmela alongside a veteran of Valencia's restaurant scene, and its arroz del senyoret and black rice sit at 9.3/10 on TheFork. A Sicilian streak shows through in starters like the titaina, a cousin of caponata: the place to eat rice like a local, away from the promenade crowds.
